Starting at the prestigious Victoria Falls Hotel, a short stroll from the spectacular Victoria Falls, then onwards to the big five wilderness of Hwange National Park. Enjoy the delights of the unique Camp Amalinda at the picturesque Matobo National Park, before ending your trip in the game filled Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve, staying at the opulent Singita Pamushana.
Days 1-2: You will be met at Victoria Falls Airport for a road transfer to the Victoria Falls Hotel. Established in 1904, the Hotel is located a short walk from the Victoria Falls along a private path. The elegant lounges offer serenity and seclusion. Corridors reflect a bygone era of the British Empire and suites and rooms are superbly furnished in Edwardian-style. The courtyard entrance overlooks lily ponds, lush flowering shrubs and palm trees.

Safari enthusiasts can experience a selection of the area's wildlife on foot, horseback or elephant-back, by vehicle, and in boats along the Zambezi River. A vintage train excursion, canoe safari, Flight of the Angels helicopter ride or a visit to a traditional African Village all provide memorable experiences. White water rafting, bungee jumping and the Gorges Swing are on offer for the more adventurous!
Days 3-5: A short flight from Victoria Falls airport brings you to Makalolo Plains for three nights. The camp is situated in a remote area within the vast Hwange National Park, legendary for its wonderful array of wildlife and massive herds of elephant and buffalo - especially during the dryer winter months.

The camp is set in a unique location, overlooking the Samavundhla Pan - which attracts game in good concentrations. The entire camp is raised on wooden boardwalks and platforms, giving guests excellent views over the waterhole and floodplain in front of the camp.
Activities include game drives from open 4x4 vehicles during the early morning and late afternoon, when game is most active. Foot safaris are also offered, and are accompanied by an armed professional guide.
Days 6-7: A charter flight and short road transfer to the majestic granite domes and castle kopjes of the Matobo Hills, where you spend two nights at Camp Amalinda. This unique camp consists of only nine thatched rooms, including two honeymoon suites, which are set into the huge boulders. Each is steeped in African historical artefacts of a bygone era.

Activities include game viewing by vehicle or on foot. Track the horn of sorrow as they have become known the endangered black rhino. Drive through the granite hills in the footsteps of Cecil John Rhodes and visit his world famous tomb known as Worlds View. It is also possible to take a tour to an African homestead and get down to earth with the local Matabele people, visiting their pole and dagga huts, the rural clinic and the local primary school.
Days 8-10: A short road transfer back to Bulawayo airport for a light air charter to Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve, where you stay for three nights at the luxurious Pamushana. One of Africa’s best-kept secrets, Singita Pamushana Lodge comprises six luxury suites and one villa, each offering incredible views of the lake. Each of the highly spacious suites features a private plunge pool, double-sided fireplace, private lounge and game viewing deck with Swarovski spotting scope.

Activities centre on game drives in open Landcruisers and guided bush walks amongst the Malilangwe sandstone features or along the riverine forests of the Chiredzi or Runde rivers. A system of hides and blinds and waterholes has been developed for that special close encounter. Other activities include black rhino tracking, San Bushmen art educational tours, seasonal canoeing on the Chiredzi River or on the 1 500 acre Malilangwe Dam.

Day 11: After your final morning activity, transfer by charter flight to Victoria Falls Airport for your onward travel arrangements.
