

This varied itinerary is packed full of adventure. Relaxing mokoro trips and game drives in two private concessions of the fascinating Okavango Delta Pom Pom Island and Kwara - are combined with big-game experiences in the Kwando Concession.
Days 1-2: You will be met at Maun Airport for a flight in a light aircraft to Pom Pom Camp, located on Pom Pom Island in a private concession situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta. The area lies on the western boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve and offers superb Okavango scenery and a true wilderness experience.

The Camp is set under a grove of shady trees and overlooks a beautiful lagoon enhancing the already spectacular Okavango sunsets. Activities include game drives, night drives, mokoro trips and walks. Guests have the opportunity of seeing all the major predators, a variety of big game and plains game, as well as an abundance of bird life.
Days 3-5: A light aircraft transfer to Little Kwara Camp in the remote northern part of the stunning Okavango Delta within the private Kwara Concession. This intimate camp is adjacent to the permanent waters of the Delta, and is backed by extensive bush.

Your three nights will be spent in a luxury tent raised into the tree canopy on a forested island. Each tent has its own viewing deck and private en-suite facilities. Activities include mokoro trips, walks with a guide on one of the many palm-fringed islands and also day and night game drives. In addition, you can visit the famous Godikwe lagoon in Moremi Game Reserve, where you can stand on a boat literally eye to eye with thousands of herons, storks and other nesting birds.
The Kwara area is home to a variety of animals including lechwe, sitatunga, reedbuck, bushbuck, hippo, crocodile, elephant, buffalo, sable, roan, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, impala and tsessebe. Lion, hyena, wild dog, leopard and cheetah are abundant in this part of the Delta and are regularly seen.
Guests can alternatively choose to base themselves at the larger Kwara Camp whilst in the Delta.
Days 6-8: A short flight by light aircraft brings you to Lebala Camp in the private Kwando Concession. The camp lies in an area dominated by vast plains with scattered palms and tree clumps backed by wooded savannas.

You spend three nights in superb tented accommodation. Each spacious tent looks out over the vast plains and has private en-suite facilities with a victorian claw foot bath and an open-air shower. Activities include day and night game drives in open vehicles.
This area is home to huge herds of elephant and buffalo. There are few places in Africa where such concentrated numbers of these animals exist, especially in the dry season. The predators are also well represented by lion, hyena, leopard, cheetah and wild dog. The lions of Kwando are famous for their elephant, hippo and buffalo kills. Among the great variety of antelope species found in the region, the endangered sable and roan are often seen.
Guests can alternatively choose to base themselves at Lagoon Camp whilst in the Kwando Concession.
Day 9: This morning you return to Maun Airport to connect with your onward travel arrangements.
